We met in New York, a city defined by ambition and constant movement, and while we admired its energy, we found ourselves drawn to something quieter and more intentional. In the midst of a fast paced world, we were inspired by simplicity, by clothing that feels effortless and enduring rather than seasonal or temporary.

From the beginning, our approach to fashion was deeply personal. Oscar has always been attentive to structure and precision, fascinated by the way a perfectly cut coat can frame the body or how the weight of a knit can completely change how a garment feels. Mae has always designed through intuition, guided by texture, comfort, and the emotional connection someone forms with what they wear. Together, we began selecting and designing pieces that reflected our own lives, focusing on refined knitwear, soft natural fabrics, and clean silhouettes in a calm, neutral palette.

We have chosen to step away from the rhythm of New York and embrace a slower, more present chapter. With that decision comes the closing of Oscar & Mae New York as you have known it.

Our final collection carries everything this brand has stood for from the very beginning. It is thoughtful, refined, and created with the same care that shaped our journey. This farewell is not driven by urgency, but by gratitude. We are thankful for the community that supported us, wore our pieces, and became part of our story.
